Bereavement

Our heart is to surround the bereaved with the hope and comfort of Gods love by creating meaningful funerals and memorials for grieving friends and family. We are here to assist with food prep, serving and any other needs that may come up.

Blood Drive

The CCRGV Blood Drive ministry is a small ministry (currently 2 coordinators – Shane & Victoria Grimm) that hosts at least 4 blood drives per year in partnership with United Blood Services.  Successful blood drives are not miraculous or magical, but they do require commitment, planning and attention to details.
  • Blood donors feel good about giving back together with family, friends, neighbors
  • The United Blood Services is better able to fulfill its mission of ensuring the availability of a safe and reliable blood supply
  • Patients in the community and across the nation receive the gift of life.

Hosting a blood drive is a rewarding experience, the blood drive coordinators:
  • Work with many people from the church and the local community
  • Have the opportunity to fellowship and possibly minister to others (United Blood Services employees, donors that don't attend CCRGV)
  • Promote a cause that saves millions of lives each year
Those who are passionate about this cause or who cannot donate themselves can join the blood drive ministry and help recruit others!!

God Bless!
Shane and Victoria (Vickie) Grimm

The Men’s Fellowship is committed to Biblical encouragement and exhortation as expressed in Hebrews 10:24-25
"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."

It is the vision of the Men’s Fellowship to strengthen, encourage and build up the men of the church, to be all God has called them to be as individuals, husbands, fathers, sons, employers or employees, through the study of God’s Word, fellowship and prayer.

Proverbs 27:17 declares:
"As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."

Don’t miss the opportunity to study God’s Word and learn from one another.

Weekly Men’s Study, Thursday Nights at 6:30PM. We meet in Grounded.  We also meet every Tuesday at 6:00AM in the Coffee Shop for prayer.

Mom's Group

Mom's Group is a safe place for moms and littles to build friendships centered on Jesus. We exist to offer a place of fellowship and community which can otherwise be hard (if not impossible) for us moms to get during the hurry before and after regular service times. We get it, the struggle is real. For this reason, we plan our time with little hands and little attention spans in mind. Join us as we participate in fun activities and learn about God's design for us as mothers, wives, and women!
Mom's Group meets Friday mornings at 9:00am at Canon Christian Academy.  Enter through the CCA office and sign in.

New Believer Advisors

After an altar call, the New Believer Advisor will welcome the new believer into the family of God. They will give them a Bible, share with them information regarding the commitment they have just made and pray with them. The counselors will also do follow up contact with the new believer by phone.

New Thirst

The New Thirst program is an instrument God uses to free people from the bondage of addiction. Instead of a twelve-step program we believe it takes one step, one step towards Jesus. “Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (MT11:28). The focus of the group is to get out of self and into service by becoming disciples of Jesus. Thus, as disciples of Christ we become disciple-makers. “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (MT 28:18-20).
New Thirst meets every Friday at 6PM at Grounded.

Walk With Wisdom

Walk With Wisdom ministry is a Bible study and fellowship to encourage seniors as we study God’s word together.  That we may continue to be effective for God's Kingdom.
Psalm 71:17  O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.

Meets every Thursday at 10:00am
As a group of women we gather together to encourage each other in the word and fellowship. Our main goal is to do what the Bible says in Titus 2:4,5 -"that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed."

It is our main desire to study God's word for these purposes and these alone. We encourage women to go to weekly Wednesday and Sunday Bible studies to be taught exegetically through the Word of God  by Pastor Ray. We desire to keep focused on encouraging and exhorting women to be godly women through teaching of the Bible at our weekly Bible Studies, women's teas, retreats and Ladies' Night Out. There is a place for every woman here at the Women's Ministry whether you are young, old, single, married, or widowed. We look forward to meeting you.

Bible Study -Tuesdays 6:00 pm  at Grounded.
Prayer-Thursdays 9:30 am .     We have several Women’s Tea  and get-togethers throughout the year as well.
Ladies’ Night Out-Every third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm.

Worship

The purpose of the Worship Ministry is to provide an atmosphere that will keep the focus of our hearts on Jesus Christ & our awesome God. We desire that the Holy Spirit move us into a deeper understanding of Biblical truth & believe the worship of the Lord prepares us to receive His word more effectively.  Anchored Worship Community is a group of individuals who have a heart to see Jesus glorified through praise  with vocals and instruments. Worship is a lifestyle, not just songs we sing and play for entertainment. Worship members are always needed for all weekly services, Pierced Youth Group, weekly Bible Studies, and special events. This ministry also includes the Audio/Visual Ministry.

Psalm 100 - Psalm of Thanksgiving
"1 Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.   3 Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;   We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations"
