Jim was born in Belen, but soon after moved to Albuquerque and Bosque Farms. He moved back to Belen in 1984 and graduated from Belen High School. He has been married to his best friend for 23 years and they have 6 children and 6 grandchildren. Jim was saved very shortly after 9/11. He knew about God but had never had that personal experience of knowing him. With a failed marriage in his past, he knew there had to be more to life and was more than ready to receive Jesus when the Gospel was presented to him and he has never looked back. Sharing the love of Christ and the hope that He brings has now become his life’s purpose.

Jim has served as greeter, nursery helper, teacher and coordinator in Kids Church, Leader of home fellowships, marriage ministry and most recently been blessed by God’s grace to lead as Kids Church Pastor since 2017. He serves along with his family and could not imagine doing anything better with his life.
